New Delhi: February is fabulous, a month the 10 that follow should look up to.

For no other month is as kind as February, which likes to keep things short (with just 28 days, mostly) and sweet (can't be thankful enough for those chocolates and treats on Valentine's Day).

It lives up to being the month of love and romances bank accounts with salaries for a full month, which one can spend shopping for their must-haves at discounted prices (Sale! Sale! Sale - please read the writing on the wall, literally). That's not all. The weather, too, is just about perfect for family picnics and romantic dinners. To sum it up:

#2 You get your salary a couple of days earlier than in other months

#3 Bang in the middle of the month is V-day so you can legitimately be as mushy as you want before/after and on that day for sure

#4 You can go for the picnic you've been planning all winter before the summer heat kicks in

#5 Sale! Sale! Sale - season ends, you splurge
