The Delhi Fire Department is being "harassed" by an unidentified girl making crank calls, disturbing its control room almost every night by talking "dirty" and playing "pranks".
The control room (which started receiving the calls in November last year) gets such calls mainly at midnight from an unknown girl, who wants to talk dirty and play pranks with the duty officer," a senior fire official said.
Many a times, the caller would give wrong information about fire incidents, other than playing songs and dialogues from Bollywood movies in the background to disturb the men.
"She also connects our call with the Police Control Room and hospitals," the official said.
"Acting on the calls, our men reached several destinations but later realised that it was nothing but a hoax. We are really irritated and have registered a complaint in this regard," he said.
