He was charged with drug possession, resisting arrest without violence & possession of drug paraphernalia
A self-proclaimed drug dealer in Florida, US scored an own goal of sorts when he called 911 to report theft of a bag of cocaine that he possessed illegally.
On Sunday morning, 32-year-old David Blackmon called the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office and identified himself as a drug dealer. Then he told the responding officer that someone stole about a quarter ounce of cocaine and $50 from his car.
After reaching the scene, the police officer found cocaine in the same spot the drug-dealer mentioned the drugs had disappeared from. The officer did what he had to. He arrested the man. He was later released on a $4,000 bond, according to The Telegraph.
The Okaloosa police department detailed the bizarre case on their social media page
Amused? So was social media. Many thought that it was a joke. Can't blame them though.
"Somebody please tell me this is satire. This can't be real. Nobody on this Earth can possibly be so stupid, right?" wrote Christopher Vancil.
"Stay off drugs, they make you STUPID! The criminal in this story is proof! (Did this actually happen, or is this a story from "The Onion?"), said Rick Stevens.
"Man, should give them probation for selling dope and a life sentence for stupidity," wrote Andy Watts.
Bayb Heart said, "not the brightest bulb in the box, is he?"
One thing is clear, this guy doesn't have much of a future in the criminal world, he might as well give it up.
