#Ementicons Take Over Twitter. Tried Them Yet?

Emojis, emoticons, smileys are a thing of the past. The new trend taking over Twitter right now is - ementicons.

If you are happy, awkward, sad, confused or are feeling more complex emotions that might not even have been named, you can use an ementicon to express yourself. For example, all those times you gloat over someone else's misfortune has a name - schadenfreude - and now could be a very cute ementicon. So could the moment you find something cute beyond words, feel the fear of missing out or think every moment is selfie-worthy.

These new ideograms have been started by a mints brand and have taken over Twitter with a trending hashtag and lots of tweets.
