The 'bread bandit' was caught with his accomplice a day later.
On May 19, the Shafter Police Department of California, US, shared CCTV footage of a suspect escaping a general store after shoplifting. The video of the robbery attempt and escape has been viewed over 84,000 times on Facebook, with many people calling it 'cute' and 'hilarious.' The bread thief, after all, is a white and grey husky that escaped on all fours after attempting to steal a loaf of bread. Watch his hilarious video below:
According to the Shafter Police Department, the shoplifting attempt took place on May 17 at the Dollar General Store, but that wasn't the end of it.
The dog, who has since been nicknamed the Husky Bread Bandit, returned a day later with an accomplice in a bid to steal more bread.
