Here are five stand-out moments from the this year's Emmys.
It was a night of glitz and glamour as the who's who of television gathered for the 68th annual Emmy Awards on Sunday evening in Los Angeles. While fantasy drama Game of Thrones dominated the awards night, rousing speeches, traffic-stopping red carpet looks and some incredible moments made the night a memorable one.
Here are five stand-out moments from the this year's Emmys:
1. Priyanka Chopra wins the red carpet: Pardon our bias but we cannot get over how stunning our Desi Girl looked on the Emmys red carpet. The Quantico actor was a vision in her red customised Jason Wu gown and Brian Atwood heels.
*Someone cue in Alicia Keys' Girl on Fire as we frantically fan ourselves*
Priyanka also presented the award for Outstanding Director for a Limited Series or Movie with actor Tom Hiddleston at the ceremony.
2. Stranger Things cast singing Uptown Funk: Game of Thrones may have won big this year but it's the kids from Stranger Things who really conquered the night. Child stars Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin have the world at their feet with their Emmys antics. The kids performed Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars and won everyone over at the Emmys pre-show and subsequently the Internet.
Seriously, how can you not love them?
3. Stranger Things cast distributing PB&J sandwiches made by Jimmy Kimmel's mom: The kids later transformed into their onscreen characters El, Dustin and Lucas and distributed the special sandwiches made by television host Jimmy Kimmel's mother. "I know these shows are long, and I know a lot of you haven't eaten since Labor Day," the host joked.
No big deal, Mrs Kimmel only made like 7000 of those for everyone in attendance.
4. Sarah Paulson's acceptance speech: After winning the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series, Sarah Paulson gave a special shout out to Marcia Clark, the woman she played on The People v O J Simpson: American Crime Story.
"The responsibility of playing a real person is an enormous one. You want to get it right, not for you, but for them," she said before apologizing to Ms Clark for being 'superficial' and 'careless' in judging her earlier. Marcia Clark was the chief prosecutor in the O J Simpson trial.
5. Kit Harington's onstage proposal: Several women must have dreamed of Kit aka Jon Snow down on one knee and now it's something of a reality thanks to this year's Emmys. Don't be heartbroken just yet ladies, the proposal was just part of a gig the GOT actor did with co-presenter Andy Samberg.
Yes, Ma'am, you and the rest of world when this happened.
