Oh, the horror! If having a bird almost as large as your (admittedly fairly tiny) self attack you isn't trauma enough, having pictures of the episode go viral on social media is just plain cruel.
A five-year-old Houston girl got the biggest scare of her life when a goose attacked her. This moment was captured in photographs for posterity and posted on Twitter and the pictures are now driving tweeple crazy.
According to reports, Stevie Gidden and her little sister Summer were taking a stroll when they spotted tiny goslings. However, they got a little too close, sending mother goose into total ninja-mode. That's when a neighbour clicked photos of little Summer being terrorized by her feathered foe.
Summer's older sibling Stevie tweeted the pictures, as older siblings do. Since being posted on May 2, the photos have been retweeted 44,000 times and have more than 58,805 'likes'.
Twitter was a little concerned about what the appropriate response should be but decided that little Summer's helplessness vs angry bird was too comic not to laugh. Don't feel too bad, she's fine.
