So what happens when a bunch of British guys clad in suits create an a-capella medley of international pop singer Shakira's biggest hits? A bit of magic, really. These Oxford and Oxford Brookes University students, who have an all-male group, Out of the Blue, have managed to imitate the Spanish diva and do it in a way that's fun, funny and amazingly cute.
With this mash up of Hips Don't Lie, Whenever Wherever and Waka Waka, these boys have ensured a place in internet history. They are singing, they are trying to belly-dance, and they are moving effortlessly from one hit song to another. And they are doing all this while wearing suits. Belly dancing in SUITS! This is a-capella done right.
The song has already garnered a lot of interest on the web, so much so that Shakira herself has complimented the boys on their entertaining performance. She and her team loved the a-capella medley, tweeted the diva.
The highlight of the video however, has to be the guy trying to imitate Shakira's trademark glitter-studded dance from Hips Don't Lie. If there ever was a video meant to go viral, it is this one. Watch the Oxford men in suit get their groove on:
