Wedding photoshoots capture the beautiful moments of a bride and groom on their most important day. However, a couple's photoshoot in Canada was made even more memorable for a wonderful reason.
Newlyweds Brittany and Clayton Cook were in the middle of their wedding photoshoot when a child fell into a river nearby. Mr Cook noticed the child and jumped into the river to save the boy who was struggling to swim. The couple's wedding photographer managed to click pictures of that moment and they're now viral.
A post shared on Facebook by Hatt Photography praises the groom for his act and also shows pictures of the rescue.
"A special shout out to last night's groom Clayton! While I was taking solo pictures of the bride this little guy was pushed into the river behind me by another child. By the time the bride noticed and shouted out, Clayton had already jumped down and brought him to safety. His quick action saved the little guy who was struggling to swim. Well done sir," says the post.
Since being posted on September 23, the pictures have collected over 8,100 reactions and more than 2,800 shares.
"Sometimes things happen so quickly and it only takes seconds.... good for you Clayton that little boy had you as his angel on his shoulder. Congratulations on your wedding and many happy years," says one Facebook user on the post.
"Many thanks to Clayton... so nice to see someone who is genuinely a good person! It certainly adds an extra special memory to your wedding day that you and your bride can cherish always," says another.
