The Magic Kingdom at Disney World is supposed to be the 'happiest place in the world'. However, this picture of a woman from New York is really questioning that tagline.
About two weeks ago, Steven Alexander shared a picture of his wife riding the Splash Mountain at the Magic Kingdom. Little did he know, this picture would soon not only go viral, but also become a popular meme on the internet.
Mr Alexander explains that he decided against accompanying his wife on the ride. "It was at the end of a long day, with our baby son in tow (and my in-laws along with us for the fun) and I was tired," he explained on Imgur.
So Mrs Alexander decided to go on the "joyride" all by herself. However, she still wanted to let her husband know she wasn't happy about his decision. So there she was, photographed among happy and excited people, looking extremely grumpy.
And just like Mr Alexander, the internet too found hilarity in Mrs Alexander's scowl and folded arms look on the ride. The picture soon prompted a Photoshop battle on Reddit and Imgur and resulted in many fun alterations.
The famous Mona Lisa smile? Not so much.
This is probably how she'd react to skydiving if her husband refused to tag along.
And what she would have looked like had he accompanied her. Aww... but also creepy.
At least this makes sense. John being all Travolting...
Wouldn't you frown if your food was placed that far away?
Yes. We've all had enough...
Let's not try to justify her angry face with this kind of Photoshop monstrosity.
Move over Charlize Theron, Mrs Alexander is the new Imperator Furiosa
Of course, that scowl had to have killed at least one of those Space Mountain cameras.
If everyone on that ride had been as "happy" as Mrs Alexander...
Totally legit, this one.
