Tweeted earlier today, the video has managed to stun many on the social networking site, not into silence but into posting tweets that range from shock to awe. It shows the barber first sprinkling some powder and liquid into his client's hair and boom, setting it on fire. You can see actual flames, we're not kidding.
He then proceeds to comb out the flaming hair with both hands, eventually putting the fire out. He sets the hair on fire once again in the nearly-two-minutes video and repeats the process.
Somehow, even after all that burning, the length of the hair seems pretty much the same. So we're not really sure about the end result of this novel practice.
(Warning: Please do not try this at home)
Apparently this Pakistani hair stylist's routine includes setting the client's hair on fire - literally! pic.twitter.com/gWmBOZE06q

Since being shared 13 hours before writing this, the video has collected some 570 retweets and almost 450 'likes'. Tweeple are really finding it hard to deal with this hairstyling procedure.
"But why," asks one commenter, reiterating what many people must be wondering. "I think to straighten his hair," replies Mr Quraishi on Twitter.
Here's what others had to say:
@omar_quraishi What is this? This shouldn't be allowed.

@omar_quraishi That is very dangerous, so far only lubricant has caught fire but someone will burn because of this.

Say whatever, but you gotta give credit to the man who sat in that salon chair and allowed his barber to do THAT to his hair.
We repeat, do not try this at home or anywhere else for that matter.
