In a scary incident, 19 people were left dangling in their seats after a spinning wheel ride malfunctioned in the city of Puyallup in USA. The incident took place on Monday at the Washington State Fair. Thankfully, everyone trapped was rescued safely within 10 minutes, reports The News Tribune. Firefighters from the Central Pierce Fire Department got everybody off the ride without injuries - but the incident left a lot of people shaken.
The ride, called the 'El Nino', stopped mid-air at around 6 pm. Some people were left hanging upside down after the malfunction.
"Everybody was freaking out," said Augustina Boyer-Redman, one of the 19 people rescued from the ride, to Komo News. "We were all worried the harnesses were going to open."
