Officers worked together to help a squirrel with its head stuck inside a paper cup.
In the town of Enfield, Connecticut, an unlucky little squirrel managed to get its head stuck inside a paper cup. Fortunately for the distressed and bouncing little creature, there was help at hand. Members of Enfield Emergency Medical Services responded on Friday to a call about a squirrel in a sticky situation and rushed to help it. However, what they did not take into account was that before helping the squirrel, they first had to catch it.
A video shared by Enfield Emergency Medical Services shows not one, not two, but a whole six officers of the Wildlife Response Team working together to catch the squirrel and free it from the cup. Even after their first unsuccessful attempt, where the critter managed to hop from one officer's hands and through the legs of another to evade capture, the team did not give up.

The squirrel, finally cup-free, happily hopped off.
