'Howard for President': Meet The New 'Captain America'

Last night's  United States vs. Belgium match was nothing short of phenomenal. U.S. goalkeeper Tim Howard single-handedly, like a wall of steel, kept the United States in the match until the end of their memorable 2-1 loss to Belgium.

Even though, Tim Howard's heroic performance couldn't save the United States from the withering onslaught by the Belgium Team, Howard's 16 saves, the most by any keeper in a single FIFA World Cup game since 1966, won the hearts of football enthusiasts.

Social media is abuzz with mentions (@ and #) of this American hero. On Twitter, many want to nominate him for President, wao! Even Wikipedia wasn't spared and someone briefly changed the Wikipedia entry for the United States Secretary of Defense to Tim Howard. What a way to salute this One Man Army, and what a fitting position to bestow him with.
