Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a special stopover in Ireland en route USA and not only did he get a warm welcome from his Irish counterpart Enda Kenny, he also received some souvenirs to carry home.
When in Ireland, do as the Irish do and wear green. At their Dublin meeting, PM Kenny presented PM Modi with a special gift that nodded just to the Irish love of green but also to the Indian love of cricket.

That right there is the Irish Cricket team's official jersey, personalized with PM Modi's name.
The gifts also include a sliotar and hurley, objects used in the Irish sport called 'Hurling'.
PM Modi, only the second Indian prime minister to visit the country after Jawaharlal Nehru, had presents for PM Kenny in return - special manuscripts and papers from the National Archives of India.

This wasn't all. There was another gift for PM Kenny, an Irish shamrock made in India.
After delegation talks with the Irish prime minster, PM Modi will head to New York City to begin a six-day tour of the US.
