It's only been a day since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made their first official appearance together hand in hand at the Invictus Games in Toronto but seems like she already has competition. A radio show host from Canada popped the big question to Prince Harry before Meghan Markle could.
On Tuesday, hundreds waited for hours outside the CN Tower in Toronto where the prince was to attend a reception by Invictus Game Foundation. When Prince Harry reached the venue he met all those who had queued up to see him. Among them was Maurie Sherman, a radio DJ from Toronto-based Kiss 92.5 FM, who had spent four hours waiting in line to see Prince Harry.
As Prince Harry shook hands and snapped photos with people, a voice from the other end caught his attention.
"I'd leave my husband for you," yelled Mauri Sherman.
Prince Harry, visibly taken aback, walked towards the radio show host and greeted him.
The brief interaction between the two was posted by the radio channel on their YouTube channel.
The radio show host also complimented Prince Harry and called him "gorgeous". Watch till the end to see an embarrassed looking Prince Harry.
A pleased Mr Sherman even posted a photo with the prince on Twitter
