On social media, it was a close contest between cricket and the Budget today. Even as Finance Minister Arun Jaitley presented the budget, the Australia vs New Zealand continued to remain the top trend on Twitter. But just as the match between Australia and New Zeal and around noon, five words from Mr Jaitley's budget started trending simultaneously.
These were: IIT in Karnataka, Mudra Bank, Nirbhaya Fund, Rs 12 and Yoga.

IIT in Karnataka-As soon as Jaitley announced that his government will set up an IIT in Karnataka, and IIM in J&K and Andhra Pradesh, it started trending on Twitter.

Nirbhaya Fund-After Jaitley doubled the budget of Nirbhaya fund to Rs 2,000 crore, there was much debate on Twitter on whether it was a good or a bad move.
