The man who's given us films like Jab We Met, Highway and more, all wonderful films with powerful female characters, has now released a short film titled India Tomorrow on Facebook. And like his big screen offerings, this too packs a quite a punch in all of five minutes.
Shared some 21 hours ago by director Imtiaz Ali himself, the film is already making waves on social media with 2.4 lakh views and counting.
It showcases an interesting conversation between a sex worker and her client - he is left amazed, prepare to be amazed yourself.
The film shows the man discussing the falling prices of his stock market investments while on a phone call. The woman overhears the conversation and keeps interrupting his discussion with general know-how on the matter. It takes a few seconds, but the man finally realizes she knows what she's talking about and turns to her for advice. What she says to him next has him stumped.
We won't disclose any more and just let you watch the film for yourself. If this is India Tomorrow, count us in. (Viewer discretion advised. Some contents of this video may be unsuitable for children.)
