iPhone 7 Is Out But It's The AirPods Twitter's Obsessing Over

Yes, iPhone 7 has been announced but it's been somewhat upstaged (on social media, at least) by another Apple product, soon to debut. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were revealed at a special event in San Francisco last evening and also the AirPods, Apple's new wireless headphones.

It is these that the Internet has worked itself into a lather over.   

For weeks before the event, social media kept making the same joke about losing the cordless earphones, in the event that the tech giant actually announced them. Now that the "breakthrough design," as Apple CEO Tim Cook puts it, has finally been unveiled, the punchlines have only multiplied.

From DIY (Do It Yourself) AirPods to how they resemble hairdryers, Twitter seems to have lots to say.
