Japan's Hokkaido village is making a bid for a Guinness World Record with the largest number of frozen pairs of jeans standing upright in the snow.
The bid involves 295 pairs of various colours and sizes, The Japan Times reported today.
Around 120 participants set up the jeans on Sunday evening as the temperature hit minus 5.3 degrees.
