In August this year, the US Charge d'Affaires in New Delhi, MaryKay Carlson, had asked Twitter for help in trying to decide which saree she should wear on India's Independence Day. And very recently, the US Consulate in Mumbai held a friendly dandiya dance off between its Indian and American staff.
