The little black kitten has stolen officers' hearts as well as the Internet's love.
There's something about big cops and tiny animals together that makes most people go mushy. Maybe that's the reason why a punny post by the Queensland Police Service in Australia is going viral with over 20,000 reactions and almost 900 shares.
"This kitten was considering becoming a purr-amedic but was feline the paw-lice life instead. He is now wanted on multiple counts of stealing officers' hearts. #YouHaveTheRightToRemainAdorable" reads the Facebook post which is accompanied by two photos of a tiny kitten snuggling up to a police officer.
The little black kitten has clearly stolen not just the officers' hearts but also the Internet's love.
"The little thing looks lovely just sitting on your shoulder. Just think .... you won't get acousted while you have it there. Cheers," writes a user on Facebook. "How lovely. So good for a the police involved. Every station should have a pet. Police need reminders of the gentleness and innocence in the world with all the stuff they deal with everyday," says another commenter.
