Her heartwarming post about her little daughter's stepmother - who she refers to as 'bonus mommy' - has tugged on the heartstrings of thousands. Since being posted on August 17, the post has collected over 24,000 shares and more than 20,000 reactions - and counting.
"I never expected it to go viral like this, but I hope that it gives hope and inspiration to those who need it the most," Oklahoma resident Hayley Booth tells NDTV.
The viral post, all kinds of wonderful, details Ms Booth's daughter's relationship with her stepmother. "My daughter calls her bonus mommy 'Mommy'... and you know what? That's okay, because that's what she is to her, she IS her mommy," she says in the post. She goes on to describe why that's more than alright with her. She also talks about her own relationship with her ex-husband's wife.
