"I am not 14 years old, and have crossed the age where uttering 25 abuses would impress me", says actor Aamir Khan in this video posted by YouTube channel Bollywood Backstage.
The video has received over 2.9 lakh views in two days, and shows the actor lamenting the use of abusive language in the controversial roast.

Aamir begins by clarifying that he has not seen the roast yet, but has seen clips and heard about the show directly from Karan Johar and Arjun Kapoor, and was not amused at all. Neither does he want to watch it as he believes the video will 'disturb' him.
Speaking to the press at an event in Mumbai, Aamir spoke against his friends, saying that he 'scolded' the duo (Karan and Arjun) when he heard the explicit language they had used. He said he was 'deeply affected' by the language and felt that roast - which saw a 4,000-strong audience and received over 8 million views on YouTube before AIB took it off - was 'a very violent event'.
But while the PK actor was not okay with the content of the show, and believes that there should have been an age-lock, he is also not condoning the calls for a ban, or the public lynching of AIB and the celebrities.
"I don't believe in banning anything either. If I don't like something, I believe in communicating it directly to the people involved and that's where my interference should end", said the actor about the FIRs launched against those associated with the show.
Wrapping up the discussion about the roast, the actor said that he believes that responsibility comes along with freedom of speech.
