Washington:
US President Barack Obama wished Michael J Fox a happy "Back to the Future" day.
October 21, the date when Marty McFly (Fox) and his friend Dr Emmett "Doc" Brown (Christopher Lloyd) arrived in the future, was celebrated as Back to the Future day, celebrating the Back to the Future trilogy's legacy.
The 54-year-old politician took to his Twitter account to extend his best wishes to the Canadian-American actor, who starred in the iconic sci-fi franchise.
And the 54-year-old star did not waste much time in responding to the message.
Earlier this week, Lloyd hailed the enduring appeal of the Back to the Future movies.

Happy Back to the Future Day, @RealMikeFox! Ever think about the fact that we live in the future we dreamed of then? That's heavy, man.
