Passengers on a flight to Mumbai from Jodhpur were in for a musical surprise when the in-flight entertainment turned out to be an impromptu mid-air gig by playback singer Sonu Nigam, who was on the plane.
Two videos uploaded by entertainment blogger Miss Malini on Facebook show the singer performing some of his hit numbers like Do Pal from Veer-Zaara (2004) and Panchi Nadiya from Refugee (2000) on the in-flight intercom. He noticed passengers singing along with him and said smiling, mid-performance, "Arrey wah, aap bhi gaatein hain. My God, saare singers hain."
The videos collectively have over 11 lakh views and some 6,000 shares on Facebook. Sonu Nigam, whose hits include Kal Ho Na Ho and Sooraj Hua Maddham, is trending on social media because of his spontaneous performance.
Sonu Nigam fans watching these videos will be very jealous of the passengers on board this particular flight.
