Caught on camera: An off-duty cop shoots and kills two armed robbers while holding his son in his arms
An off-duty military police officer was with his wife and infant son buying medicines at a pharmacy in Brazil when two men burst in wearing hoods and wielding guns. They intended to rob the pharmacy, says the cop. What happened next was captured on surveillance cameras.

local media reports suggest at least one of the robbers pointed his weapon at Mr Souza. The off-duty cop then drew his own weapon and is captured on camera shooting the would-be attacker at close range.
Mr Souza briefly disappears from the frame as a woman - reportedly his wife - takes cover in an aisle, crouching over and covering her ears with her hands. He then appears back in the frame and quickly hands over his son to the woman.
The cop moves out of the frame again, before reportedly shooting the second assailant.
