New Delhi: It was on March 23, 1931, three young freedom fighters were hanged to death in the Lahore Central Jail. 86 years later, the country still remembers martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. On their death anniversary, also known as Shaheed Diwas or Martyr's Day, Indians pay homage to the revolutionary fighters. PM Modi paid his tribute to the revolutionaries and said the nation will never forget their sacrifice. The BSF is also planning to display the gun used by Bhagat Singh to kill British officer John Saunders at its arms museum in Indore.
