The usually calm and poised Kolkata Knight Riders captain Gautam Gambhir had a 'howzzat' moment yesterday at the first Indian Premier League (IPL) match between KKR and Mumbai Indians.

A forward defence by Gambhir to Vinay Kumar's delivery broke the KKR captain's bat in half, leaving just the handle in his hand.

Yuvraj Singh, who is a part of Delhi Daredevils in this IPL, was seemingly in splits watching a broken bat in the hands of Gambhir.

Gambhir, however, didn't pay much attention to the broken bat buzz on Twitter.

He, instead, took to social media to ask if KKR player Suryakumar Yadav should be nicknamed 'SKY' after his unbeaten 46 off 20 deliveries.
