If you've been under the impression that actress Parineeti Chopra made her screen debut in 2011 with
Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, prepare to be pleasantly surprised.
In a Facebook post shared on January 25, Parineeti revealed that she had been on Doordarshan 13 years ago. She shared a video of herself as a teenager.
Dressed in a red
salwar-kameez, performing a patriotic song as part of a choir back in 2003.
"Facepalm!!! 13-years-ago. It was a special Independence day programme and my brother Shivang (in blue) and I represented our music school SurSangam on tv!!" Parineeti wrote on Facebook.
We're really wondering what that facepalm is all about, though. We totally love Parineeti in the decade-old video.
Now 27, Parineeti was snapped up by Yash Raj Films and played the lead in 2012's
Ishaqzaade. She has since starred in films like
Shuddh Desi Romance and
Kill Dil.
