A Twitter user posted a photo of a pizza with peas and mayonnaise as toppings
If you were disgusted by the pineapple-on-pizza debate, this one is sure to give you a gag reflex. A Twitter user is facing people's wrath after posting a photo of a pizza with a strange choice of topping. Ugh! "Peas and mayonnaise pizza?! Yes please", wrote the Twitter user named Air-ic. The unconventional pizza topping horrified pizza lovers as they made their displeasure rather clear.
The tweet, posted on Monday, has been shared over 1100 times and was seen by over 300,000 people. It quickly polarised the already-divided internet.
The reactions were brutal with some calling it an 'abomination'
Some thought pineapple was still the worse of the two topping choices
And a day later, the Twitter user again posted a series of photos featuring peas on pizza.
Last week, Iceland's President Gudni T Johannesson said he was 'fundamentally opposed' to pineapple as a pizza topping and would ban it if he could. Soon, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau joined the debate by pledging his support for the Canadian invention. "I have a pineapple. I have a pizza. And I stand behind this delicious Southwestern Ontario creation", said Trudeau on Twitter.
Doesn't pineapple on pizza look like a better option now?

@Cigargoyle_ @FOX152 Eh I don't know about this. Not as offensive as pineapple pizza though. I'd try this at least.

@Cigargoyle_ @FOX152 Pineapple pizza is the real disgusting mess. At least peas and mayonnaise would compliment cheese and dough.
