After PM Modi gifted a follower his scarf, some Twitter users made similar demands
On Friday, Twitter user Shilpi Tewari received a gift she could only dream of. After tweeting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi complimenting him on a scarf he wore, she was overwhelmed to receive a package. It had the same scarf and a printout of her tweet signed by the Prime Minister. Twitter erupted with praise for PM Modi's gesture.
But some tweets ventured into strange territory.
Someone asked for his
kursi or post.
Another wanted his hat
His camera was on the wishlist too
They didn't even spare this saree
People went beyond material possessions
And this person had a very legit demand for a better job
On Friday, PM Modi was the chief guest at an event organised in Coimbatore on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. At the event, PM Modi was seen in a peacock-blue scarf as he addressed the guests and unveiled a 112-foot tall Lord Shiva statue. It was after this Shilpi Tewari expressed her desire for the stole.
