It all began when Nicki tweeted about a contest to fly out fans to the Billboard Music Awards, saying that she makes enough money to fly fans out from any country in the world. A fan then asked her if she wanted to pay for her tuition, to which Nicki was more than willing.
Pretty soon, taking her up on her offer that she would help out students if they could prove their straight-As, fans began to tweet to her for help.

A netizen even asked her for $6,000 for 16 credit classes, room and board, meal plan, technology fee and books, to which she replied, "Ok. I'll pay it. If u have proof."
Overall, Nicki replied to almost 30 people, giving away thousands of dollars. She signed off by saying that she would do this again in a month or two.
