The Internet is impressed with this American reporter's reaction to choking on a bug on live television

A television reporter is often ready to face all kinds of challenges - especially when reporting live on air. But not much could have prepared award-winning sports reporter Michael Eaves for this particular challenge. Mr Eaves was reporting on a basketball match when he suddenly began having difficulty speaking. The visibly uncomfortable reporter tried to keep going with his report but soon began coughing, admitting he had swallowed a bug. It's his surprising composure and candid admission that is winning him fans on social media.
"I'm literally choking on a bug, Lisa. Can you believe that?" Mr Eaves asks the anchor in the studio, Lisa Kerney. "National television. I'm choking on a bug."
Ms Kerney tells him to get some water. "Hey waterboys, my man Michael Eaves needs some water right now," she says.
"Who chokes on a bug inside?" Mr Eaves asks, still coughing, as they both laugh.
He was clearly able to see the humour in the situation because he posted a video of the incident on Twitter:
"Appreciate your trying to tough it out," comments Jack Cuggy on the video. "Great way to deal with it," agrees Jeff Williams. Here's what Ms Kerney has to say:
