Sachin Tendulkar and Amitabh Bachchan Had This Fabulous Twitter Exchange

Two phenomenally inspirational legends just had the most heartwarming exchange on Twitter.

Actor Amitabh Bachchan tweeted a picture of street art on a wall in Ahmedabad. It shows three Indian icons - singer Lata Mangeshkar, Big B himself, and cricket God Sachin Tendulkar - next to each other. The painting also has a touch of saffron, white and green - depicting the tricolour - on it.

In his tweet, modest Big B suggested he didn't belong in the trifecta:

Not surprisingly, hundreds of fans shared comments on the tweet, disagreeing with their favourite superstar. However, the most heartening response came from one of the 'greats' next to Big B on that wall - Sachin Tendulkar himself.

The sportstar, who retired from all forms of cricket in November 2013, returned Big B's compliment by reminding him that only one of the three was no longer working:
