Fed up with her parents nagging her to get married, 20-something Shiney plays a prank on her mother that anyone who has seen
this video of a young man being beaten by the angry father he pranked would be wary of trying at home.
Shiney sits her mother down and, after some hemming and hawing, tells her she is a lesbian (she's already told the camera she's not). Asked to explain by her mother, she says she likes girls, specifically one girl - her friend Payal, the one who always wears shirts and pants.
As her shocked and angry mother reacts furiously - berating her with "what will everyone say?" - Shiney dissolves into tears, sobbing for 10 minutes without stopping.
And then, something wonderful happens.
