There is never a good time to find a creepy crawly in the food or drink you're about to consume. This one made an appearance in the water served to two top ministers.
At a BJP meeting in Raipur, a baby snake was found swimming in a bottle of "mineral" water meant for Union Health Minister JP Nadda and Chief Minister Raman Singh. The meeting was held on September 9.
According to reports, a woman doctor who is part of the chief minister's medical team noticed the snake in the bottle. She raised an alarm and the bottle, snake and all, was taken away.
Officials at the meeting told news agency
ANI that about 20 boxes of bottled water, marketed under the name of "Aman Aqua" were ordered for the event. All the bottles were recalled after the unpleasant discovery, according to the
BBC.
The government has order an inspection of all mineral water bottles across the state, the BBC reports.
