Swaraj Kaushal had the perfect reply when asked why he doesn't follow his wife, Sushma Swaraj on Twitter.
By now, it's been clearly established that External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's husband Swaraj Kaushal's Twitter swag rivals hers equally. The former Mizoram Governor is often flooded with tweets on the social networking site - some tweeple request him to help get Ms Swaraj to unblock them on Twitter and others ask him to pass along messages to her. Mr Kaushal always seems to have the most hilarious replies to such tweets - case in point, his response to a certain someone wondering why he doesn't follow his wife on Twitter. "Because I am not stranded in Libya or Yemen," he replied late on February 17. His reply has since garnered almost 4,000 'likes' and over 1,600 retweets so far.
It doesn't take a genius to guess that Mr Kaushal's tweet cleverly indicates how Ms Swaraj is considered tweeple's go-to person in times of international or national crises.
This wasn't all. Even before this tweet exchange, Mr Kaushal had been replying hilariously to questions about the state his marriage to Ms Swaraj.
To a 'concerned' gentleman wondering when he had last met his wife, Mr Kaushal said:
Another Twitter user complimented him and Ms Swaraj on their 'great sense of humor'. Pat came his reply:
For this question on whether he and Ms Swaraj had a love or arranged marriage, Mr Kaushal had a question of his own:
And it's this reply from a while ago on Valentine's Day that wins hands down. A 'curious' Twitter user asked if all was well with the foreign affairs minister since she hadn't tweeted all day. Mr Kaushal had the most epic response:
It seems Swaraj Kaushal has the perfect reply for almost everyone, not unlike his wife, on Twitter. Sushma Swaraj is known to reply to even those who tweet her about issues with their cars and refrigerators - problems that are clearly outside of her purview.
Keep 'em tweets coming.
