Nervous flyers, look away now. A frightening video doing the rounds on the internet shows the exact moment a plane, affected by terrible crosswind, is forced pull out of landing.
The video, shared by the 'flugsnug' YouTube channel, shows Airbus A321 trying to land at the Birmingham airport when heavy winds made the task impossible. Since being posted on October 1, the video has received over 96,000 views on YouTube.
The plane can be seen swaying in the wind as it attempted to land and then taking off mere seconds later.
The Airbus eventually circled the airport before landing a second time, this time successfully.
"That was rough!! Great video, mate!" said one commenter on YouTube. "I was on this flight. Fantastic to be able to watch it :) thank u!" said another who probably lived through the ordeal.
