Woman Films Flooded Backyard. Finds Two Alligators Swimming Outside
A warning tweet by FBCSO Texas shows alligators in residential areas.
Only three days ago, the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office (FBCSO Texas) warned Texas residents that alligators would be displaced by the floods due to Hurricane Harvey and advised them to leave the reptiles alone until water recedes.  For one Texas woman, the warning came true too soon when she spotted two alligators swimming in her flooded backyard. Arlene Kelsch filmed a video on August 27 that has since gone viral. It shows one alligator swimming in her backyard before the camera pans to the low part of the fence, completely submerged in water, through which the gator came in. The clip then goes on to show the second alligator in water.

Meanwhile, an alligator sanctuary in southeast Texas says it's on high alert as rising floodwaters risk the escape of roughly 350 gators, reports Huffington Post.
