The 'Bik Gayi Hai Gormint' Aunty Is Back And Internet Can't Keep Calm

The '<i>Bik Gayi Hai Gormint</i>' Aunty Is Back And Internet Can't Keep Calm
Viral sensation 'bik gayi hai gormint' aunty reappeared on social media with a new interview
New Delhi: If you are even slightly active on social media, then you must be aware of the aunty who went viral because of her famous 'yeh bik gayi hai gormint' rant. Originally from Pakistan, the aunty dominated social media for her frustrated, abusive anti-establishment interview to a news reporter. The video resurfaced in India after people used her slogan in memes and jokes. She was the biggest thing that happened on internet in 2016. Period!

A video uploaded on Facebook claims to have tracked down the woman and she doesn't disappoint. In the video, the woman is not wearing her trademark glasses which makes her hard to recognise but her familiar voice and sass is hard to miss. In her usual irreverent style, the woman remembers how saying 'oye' was considered a cuss word while growing up. When asked why her language is loaded with profanity now, she unabashedly says 'jaisa des, waisa bhes (you adapt to your surroundings)', going on to warn the person interviewing her to not mess with her.

The video uploaded on Facebook on Sunday already has over 2 lakh views. The location of the video is not clear and nor is the aunty's identity. I guess we will have to continue calling her 'gormint aunty'

Some people claimed it was not the same woman but most cheered her return to social media. "The wait is over. Finally found the legend", wrote a user.

"Level of sassiness I aspire", wrote another.

Do you think it's the same woman or yeh sab mil kar humein pagal bana rahe hai?
