A video posted on YouTube by Marin Humane Society, an animal shelter, shows the heartening moment a frightened and sad dog sees its lost puppies again.
The animal shelter posted that two scared dogs were sent to them. One had recently given birth to puppies. "After some detective work and a lot of convincing, our team was able to get the person who surrendered the dogs to also surrender the puppies, as they still needed their momma and were not in a safe situation," they explain on YouTube.
The puppies were soon brought to the shelter to meet their mother.
The video shows the mummy dog sitting dejected in a corner when a volunteer brings the puppies. In an instant, the dog appears to come to life. It can be seen jumping around, sniffing the puppies, all the while wagging its tail. Even the puppies seem more than excited to meet their mother.
The mother eventually cuddles up next to the volunteer and feeds the puppies.
