Pennsylvania mom Amy Palmer posted a heartwarming picture of her husband Andre sleeping under their baby AJ's hospital crib after completing three shifts at work. The picture, posted on Facebook on July 5, has since gone viral with almost 9,000 'likes' and over 1,000 shares.
"This is a picture of a hardworking man dedicated to his family," Mrs Palmer wrote on Facebook, adding "father of the year award goes to Andre Palmer." With a picture like this, which speaks the proverbial 1000 words, it's hard to disagree.
What makes the photo special is that the work-fatigued dad chose to stay close to his baby even though it meant sleeping on the floor. The room was very tiny and had place only for the crib and a small chair-cum-bed, Mrs Palmer explained in the comments.

After the picture went viral, mom Amy shared another post explaining their situation better, but especially thanking everyone for their love and good wishes. AJ is now home and well on his way to recovery.
