Brace yourself for impact, these pictures are going to knock you to the ground with the sheer force of cuteness.
These Dachshunds may be short on inches but they're definitely long on style. Dressed as hot dogs, the kind you eat, they are the adorable participants in the Running of the Wieners - a dog race to mark the opening of Oktoberfest in Cincinnati, United States.
The race, which took place on September 18, witnessed the sausage-shaped dogs competing for first prize with gritted teeth. They are serious about winning, never mind that everyone around is fainting with delight.
Oktoberfest, the German beer festival, is also celebrated outside Germany and, according to AFP, Cincinnati hosts the largest Oktoberfest in the States. The 16-day festival begins at the end of September and rolls into October.
Following Cincinnati's lead, Melbourne had its first Running of the Wieners, with over 50 dogs participating, on September 19, reports Daily Mail.
They competed for the first place and best costume.
