A two-minute-long commercial for the Barbie doll is going viral for all the right reasons. Posted on YouTube on October 8, the advertisement has over 9.4 million views on YouTube.

Here's why. The message in the ad is simple - little girls can be whatever they want to be when they grow up. When they play with a Barbie doll, they are imagining their future selves and that means a whole world of possibilities.

The video shows little girls playing "pretend" in the real world. They take on the roles of actual professionals but instead of having their dolls as their playmates, they act out these roles to actual adults. And as they do this, hidden cameras capture people's incredible reactions to this play-acting.

The video begins with a little girl entering a college classroom and talking to her students about the brain. There's another playing vet, asking a woman if her cat flies (since her cat can). Another is a "ture gide" at the museum. There's a football coach and a high-flying business woman too.
