A Chicago-based dance centre is training students to perform hip-hop routines en pointe. The result is pretty fantastic.
The precision of ballet combined with the drama of street-style dance is performed in this video to artist Jason DeRulo's single 'If It Ain't Love.'
In the comments section, most have praised the ballerinas for creatively using the classical dance format. Some, however, have questioned the technique and the use of pointe shoes for hip-hop moves.
