2016 is finally over and we now have a whole new year to do some great things. What doesn't change, however, is the new year resolutions almost everyone makes at the beginning of each year. Some decide to quit smoking or drinking, others believe they're going to lead a healthier life, several resolve to go to the gym, the list is endless. And there's one little girl who has a huge problem with this entire concept.
A video, shared on Facebook by Telugu film actor Vennela Kishore some 19 hours ago, shows a little girl talking about these resolutions people make. What she has to say is so bang on, her video has received over 1.3 lakh views and almost 7,000 reactions on the social networking site.
The little girl, all of four-years-old, explains that her issue isn't that resolutions often fail or are difficult but that people think it's their one and only chance to change. "It probably won't happen in one big moment," she says with a twinkle in her eyes.
We're not sure who this little girl is or from where she gets such wisdom at such a young age but you definitely need to hear her out. And like she says, go easy on yourself this year.
