Remember the soul-shaking short film Ahalya? Makers of the viral film are back with another powerful script. Nayantara's Necklace will "shake you, jolt you and leave you", as they claim.
Directed by Jaydeep Sarkar, the film is about two friends who are poles apart and become friends quite by accident.
The lead characters Nayantara and Alka are played by Konkona Sen and Tillotama Shome (seen in films like Monsoon Wedding and Qissa).
Nayantara and Alka live in the same building, but have completely different lifestyles. One lives life on her own terms, the other is a housewife looking for happiness outside her loveless marriage.
With a little inspiration from Nayantara, Alka revamps her look and decides to meet with her old school crush. When she returns home a huge shock awaits her.
