The moving letter has touched a chord with many on Facebook.
The experience of taking home a newborn can be both exciting and terrifying for new parents. So, in an attempt to offer a helping hand and comfort to new parents, someone wrote this beautiful letter from a baby's perspective to his or her parents. The letter has recently been shared on Facebook and it has since touched a chord with many. Shared by NHS Ayrshire Maternity Unit on September 11, the letter has received over 20,000 reactions and more than 9,300 shares so far.
"Dear mummy and daddy, please keep this letter from me in a place where you can read it and re-read it when things are rough and you are feeling down," says the letter. It goes on to list several dos and don'ts for new parents but mostly attempts to give mom and dad reassurances that they're doing a good job and that things will get easier and better eventually.
