This has got to be one of the creepier, weirder viral stories the Internet has thrown at us. A McDonald's outlet in Taiwan employs a young woman named Wei Han Xu - aka Weiwei - whose porcelain beauty has enchanted the virtual world.

Photos of Weiwei made it online courtesy a blogger named RainDog who photographed her "doll" face and uploaded the pictures to his blog, nicknaming her 'Lolita'.

Ever since, Weiwei has created a bit of a fan frenzy at her workplace in the Da'an district of Taipei City with customers flocking to see her.

We also found Weiwei on Instagram. Some pictures from her feed below.

However, the cynics of the Internet are debating if Weiwei actually exists and if the photos have been manipulated.

While we wait for the definitive answer to that, here's what we know so far about Weiwei - she's still a student, she also models and has been working at McDonald's for about five years now. What we don't know is how the manager and her co-workers are taking the increased attention and whether or not the surge in customers has resulted in a boost in business for the outlet.

Tell us what you think of Weiwei's story in the comments thread below.
